English Miscellany has been organizing annual Barn Dances for nearly thirty years. The event is always very well attended and has become a staple part of the folk scene in the St. Albans' area, as well as introducing new enthusiasts to social dance.

Our next barn dance is planned for the evening of 5th Febuary 2011 at Harpenden Public Halls click here for a "streetmap" showing the hall location or here for details of the hall.

This year's band was the ever popular Stömp with Barry Goodman as the caller. Next year's band and caller has yet to be selected but will have a similar standing.
